Company Description
CSA = Community Supported Agriculture = you pay the farmer for a season's worth of produce in advance and receive extra fresh veggies every week throughout the season in return.
Eat local. Eat extra-fresh. Eat what is in season.
Why is that a good idea?
Good for you: veggies are fresher and less expensive than from a super market, and in our case they are organic too. More than that: our farmer uses regenerative practices that rebuild the soil rather than stripping it of nutrients. More nutrients in the soil means more nutrients in the food.
Good for the farmer: he can focus on growing veggies and delivering them once a week, his costs for the year are covered = support small scale, local, organic farms!
Good for the planet: less fuel spend on transporting the goods from the farm to your table. Also: regenerative organic farms rebuild soil rather than stripping it, which helps to sequester carbon in the soil!
Good for the soil: diverse, organic, small scale farming nourishes the land rather than stripping it off it's nutrients. Our farmer is a steward of the land - support him!
