Company Description

Mona Bahraini is founder and owner of The Prickly Pear. She fell in love with succulents and cacti while growing up in Phoenix, Arizona. When she moved to Northern California in 2013, she was introduced to tropicals and her plant obsession expanded. You’ll find the largest variety of succulents and cacti at The Prickly Pear plus experience her newest addition, PP Jungle, full of rare tropical plants and house plants to create your own minnie jungle at home. The Prickly Pear + PP Jungle are located at 816 U St., a historic Sacramento home, painted navy blue with white picket fence, converted into a greenhouse, shop, desert botanical garden and venue! You can rent out our desert garden and barn that was built in 1898 for weddings, birthdays and more (see gallery on our website www.thepricklypear.com) and you can book pot n' sips where you build your own pots, drink, eat and enjoy friends, family or co-workers as a team building event!
