Company Description

Our 50 year old family owned and operated farm invites all area residents and locavores to enjoy and partake in our locally grown (Burlington, IL) plants and produce at our two quaint indoor markets in Elgin and Udina, Illinois. Our customers can expect quality service given by our veteran staff, who we call family. They can also take pleasure in buying our beautiful and robust annuals, vegetable plants, herbs, and asparagus in the spring. In the summer months one can purchase our much sought after varieties of lettuce, tomatoes, sweet corn, peppers, beans, potatoes, melons, squash, pumpkins, plus much more.

With our farm so close by, one can get the benefits of lower costs (no high transportation fees tacked on), an environmentally friendly product (no preservatives sprayed or used for travel, less bruising on the road, grown in Illinois soil), and a product that can be picked every day at its peak of freshness. Knowledgable and local staff have helped plant, grow, water, and maintain the plants one sees on display.

We take pride in the plants and produce that we grow and the partner products that we carry: Wisconsin's finest cheese from Decatur Dairy, Busch's Gottenburg and liver sausage, Sechler's Pickles, Southern Illinois peaches and apples. It is our hope to pass on the quality produce and plants of our livelihoods on to your gardens, porches, kitchens, and table!
